About Us
A small consumer-technology and personal-finance publication. Here is who runs it and how the work gets made.
Last updated 15 September 2026
LookForAnything publishes explanatory articles and buying guides for people making everyday decisions about technology, money and health. It is operated by Advertala PTE LTD, and you can reach the editorial team at info@lookforanything.com.
What we actually cover
We would rather describe the archive than promise a category we do not write in. At the time of writing, the site carries 28 published articles across these sections:
- Technology — 12 articles
- Health — 10 articles
- Fashion — 3 articles
- Finance — 2 articles
- Autos — 1 article
In practice that means three kinds of piece: consumer hardware explainers and reviews; consumer-protection and personal-finance guides covering things like broadband contracts and gift-card rules; and evidence-led health and wellbeing articles on sleep, diet and screen use. If we start covering something new, this page gets updated before the articles go out.
Who writes it
Articles are published under a shared editorial team byline rather than individual names. We think it is more honest to tell you how a piece was made than to attach a personal byline to it, so every article says where its information came from, and our editorial policy sets out the standards all of them are held to.
How an article is produced
- Sourcing. We work from primary sources — manufacturer specifications, regulator guidance, published research and official documentation — and we link to them in the article so you can check our reading against the original.
- Drafting and review. Every draft is checked against its sources and edited before publication. Nothing goes out unreviewed.
- Stating our limits. Where we have not tested a product ourselves, the article says so. A review built from published specifications is a useful thing, but it is not the same as hands-on testing, and we do not blur the two.
- Maintenance. Articles carry a visible last-updated date. When prices, rules or products change, we revise the piece rather than leaving it to age quietly.
How we make money
The site is funded by display advertising. Advertisers have no involvement in what we cover or what we conclude, they see no article before it is published, and no piece on this site has been paid for by the company or product it discusses. Where an article mentions a specific product or provider, that is an editorial judgement, not a placement.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes, and we would rather hear about it. Send corrections to info@lookforanything.com or through the contact page. Our corrections policy explains what happens next and how we record changes on the article itself.
Talk to us
Story tips, corrections and complaints are all welcome at info@lookforanything.com, or through our contact page. We read everything, and we reply to most of it.
